The business incubator is a place to welcome start-up businesses accompanied by the municipality and CLD Robert-Cliche.
The city of Beauceville is distinguished by its large flat lands, which provide opportunities for expansion and development for entrepreneurs. With a growing industrial park, Beauceville has competitive prices and skilled labour. To encourage the development of new businesses in the Beauceville area, the city has set up a business incubator.
The approximately 15,000 square foot building is leased at a prime rate to start-up businesses for up to three to five years, conditional upon the relocation of “incubates” to the industrial park or elsewhere in the City of Beauceville.
Primarily, the objective of the business incubator is to support newly emerged businesses. This initiative also aims to promote the economic development of the municipality. The business incubator project was put in place by the Beauceville Industrial Development Corporation, an organization composed of entrepreneurs within the City of Beauceville. The incubator has made it possible to give a second chance to a building in the industrial park.
Welcoming and support
In addition to the support of the City of Beauceville and CLD Robert-Cliche, Beauceville also has a welcoming committee that provides ongoing support for local entrepreneurs with a business support service and networking meetings with other business owners. Whether for the establishment, for the expansion or for any information regarding the industrial park, the welcoming committee takes the time to accompany each entrepreneur in his or her efforts.
